A far-reaching class designed to improve strength, flexibility and co-ordination, Vinyasa is a dynamic and creative form of Yoga. Postures are synchronised with each breath resulting in a continuous fluid collective movement with a variety of meditation and breathing techniques also practiced. Drawing inspiration from Tripsichore, Akhanda and Ashtanga, this class is ideal if you like a challenge.
Variations are sprinkled throughout the class allowing numerous levels of ability to be accomodated, whilst also allowing the student to deepen and progress their practice as they become more proficient. New postures are often broken down into bite size pieces enabling the student to work and progress within their own capabilities.
Please note that whilst suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, beginners will require a reasonable degree of fitness for an enjoyable practice. If you are a beginner looking for a more gentle introduction please refer to the Yogalates page.
